Tata Group’s Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) has announced plans to build a luxurious five-star Taj Hotel in Patna, Bihar.
The upcoming hotel will have around 500 rooms, making it one of the largest premium hotels in the region.
The project will be developed in two phases and will be constructed on approximately 3.24 acres of land.
In the first phase, around 350 rooms will be built and are expected to open by January 2030.
The remaining 150 rooms will be completed during the second phase of development.
Once finished, the hotel is expected to boost tourism, business travel and hospitality infrastructure in Patna.
