
The Maharashtra government has approved the establishment of the Asha Bhosle Music Academy in Mumbai to honour legendary singer Asha Bhosle.
The decision was taken during a cabinet meeting and is seen as a major step towards preserving India’s musical heritage.
The academy will be set up in the Vile Parle-Andheri area of Mumbai and will focus on music education, training and cultural activities.
The initiative aims to inspire young singers and musicians while keeping Asha Bhosle’s legacy alive for future generations.
