DGCA Allows Free Air Ticket Cancellation Within 48 Hours

India’s aviation regulator, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), has relaxed ticket refund rules, allowing passengers to cancel or modify their flight bookings within 48 hours without paying any extra charges.

Under the revised guidelines, travelers can take advantage of the “look-in” option if their travel date is sufficiently ahead. For domestic flights, the journey date must be at least 7 days away, while for international flights, it must be at least 15 days away.
