Brokerage firm Emkay has warned that D-Mart parent company Avenue Supermarts could face a major decline in its share price under a worst-case scenario.
According to the report, the stock could fall by nearly 50 percent from its current level if market conditions remain weak.
The warning comes as investors remain concerned about slowing growth, increased competition and pressure on retail margins.
However, analysts believe that the company still has strong long-term potential if business performance improves in the coming quarters.
