India Activates Plan-B to Prevent LPG Crisis

India is taking precautionary steps to avoid a possible LPG crisis as global energy supply chains face disruptions.

Rising geopolitical tensions in the Middle East have affected oil and gas supply worldwide, raising concerns about a potential shortage of cooking gas.

To manage the situation and ensure stable energy supply, the Indian government has activated its Plan-B strategy.

Under this plan, additional LPG and LNG shipments are being arranged from several countries to maintain adequate reserves.

These imports are expected to support the domestic market and prevent any shortage for households.

At the same time, major Indian oil companies including IOCL, BPCL, and HPCL have increased domestic LPG production .
