Geopolitical tensions, a week-long match suspension, a ban on real-money gaming sponsors, and uncertainty from the mega-auction contributed to the drop. Despite these challenges, IPL still recorded an impressive 384.6 billion minutes of watch time, proving its strong digital influence. Only Gujarat Titans showed brand growth, while teams like CSK, KKR, DC, and RR reported steep valuation losses.
