Iran Grants Safe Passage to Indian Oil Tankers

Amid rising tensions in West Asia, Iran has granted safe passage to Indian oil tankers traveling through the Strait of Hormuz.

The decision comes after diplomatic discussions aimed at protecting vital global shipping routes and ensuring uninterrupted energy supplies.

The Strait of Hormuz is one of the world’s most important oil transit routes, through which a large portion of global crude oil and gas shipments pass.

Any disruption in this region can significantly impact international energy markets.

With geopolitical tensions affecting shipping in the region, concerns had grown over the safety of tankers transporting oil and gas to several countries, including India.
