JioHotstar has announced a major update to its subscription structure, introducing nine new subscription plans with prices starting at just ₹79 per month. The revised pricing aims to provide greater flexibility and affordability for users across India as digital streaming continues to grow rapidly.
The new plans are available across Mobile, Super, and Premium tiers, offering users multiple options based on their viewing preferences and device usage. For the first time, JioHotstar has added monthly subscription options across all tiers, while continuing to offer quarterly and annual plans.
According to the company, the updated pricing structure will come into effect from January 28, 2026, and is designed to align with the increasing consumption of content on connected TVs and mobile devices. The move also strengthens JioHotstar’s competitive position in India’s fast-growing OTT market.
JioHotstar has clarified that existing subscribers will not see any change in pricing or benefits, provided their auto-renewal remains active. This ensures continuity and value for current users while attracting new subscribers with flexible entry-level pricing.
