Good news is on the way for Pune residents, as public transport in the city is set to improve soon. The Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited (PMPML) has announced plans to introduce 25 electric double-decker buses on a rental basis.
To implement this project, the PMP administration issued a tender on Tuesday, December 17. Once the process is completed, these electric double-decker buses are expected to be seen operating on Pune’s roads in the coming year. The move aims to ease travel for commuters and enhance eco-friendly public transportation in the city.
