Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is set to appear in a new patriotic film whose title has recently been changed. The movie was earlier announced as “Battle of Galwan”, but according to the latest updates, the film will now be released with a new title, “Matrubhumi.”
The film is inspired by the historic clash between Indian and Chinese troops during the 2020 Galwan Valley clash in Ladakh. The incident was one of the most significant military confrontations between India and China in recent decades and gained nationwide attention.
Due to sensitive geopolitical circumstances and ongoing global tensions, the filmmakers reportedly decided to change the title to “Matrubhumi” to present the story in a broader patriotic context.
The film is produced under Salman Khan Films and is expected to showcase a powerful story of bravery, sacrifice, and love for the nation. Fans are eagerly waiting to see Salman Khan in a strong military role once again.
According to reports, the film is scheduled to release on 16 March 2026 and is expected to be one of the biggest patriotic Bollywood releases of the year.
