Reports circulating on social media claim that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has offered an alliance to actor-turned-politician Vijay, including a Deputy Chief Minister post and 80 assembly seats ahead of the upcoming elections in Tamil Nadu.
However, C. T. R. Nirmal Kumar, a leader of Vijay’s party Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK), has strongly denied these claims. He stated that the discussions about a BJP alliance are mere rumours and not based on any official talks.
Vijay recently entered politics by launching TVK and has been gaining attention in Tamil Nadu’s political landscape. Many political observers are closely watching his next move and the possible alliances ahead of the elections.
At present, there has been no official confirmation from Vijay or his party regarding any alliance with BJP. The party leadership has dismissed the reports and urged people not to believe unverified information circulating online.
