TVS Leads EV Two-Wheeler Market, Ola Electric Falls to Fifth Position

TVS Motor continues to dominate India’s electric two-wheeler market, while Ola Electric has slipped to the fifth position in recent registrations.

TVS Motor Company has maintained its strong lead in India’s EV two-wheeler segment. According to recent registration data available on the government’s Vahan portal, the company recorded the highest number of electric two-wheeler registrations during March.

A total of 1,39,238 electric two-wheelers were registered in India during the month. Out of these, around 38,007 units belonged to TVS Motor Company, highlighting the company’s growing dominance in the market.

Meanwhile, Ola Electric has fallen to the fifth position in the rankings. The company, which was once among the top players in the electric scooter market, has seen a decline in registrations as competition from other manufacturers increases.

The strong performance of TVS is largely driven by the popularity of its electric scooters, especially the TVS iQube. Buyers are increasingly preferring established automobile brands that offer better service networks, reliability, and after-sales support.

India’s electric vehicle market continues to expand rapidly, with several companies competing for a larger share. However, the latest figures show that TVS currently remains the strongest player in the EV two-wheeler segment.
