Netflix Increases Subscription Prices Again From March 26

Netflix is increasing its subscription prices again from March 26, with users expected to pay more across all major plans.

The streaming giant has announced another round of price hikes as it continues to invest heavily in original content, live events and new features. The revised prices will apply to both new and existing users, although existing subscribers may see the change reflected from their next billing cycle after March 26.

According to the new pricing structure in the United States, the ad-supported plan will now cost $8.99 per month, up from $7.99. The standard ad-free plan has been increased to $19.99 per month, while the premium plan will rise to $26.99 per month. Netflix has also increased the cost of adding extra members to an account.

Netflix says the increase is necessary to support its growing investment in movies, web series, live sports, and new entertainment experiences. The company has recently expanded into live events, sports content and interactive features, which has increased its operating costs.

The company believes that most users are likely to continue their subscriptions despite the higher prices because Netflix remains one of the largest and most popular streaming platforms in the world. However, some subscribers may choose to switch to the cheaper ad-supported plan or cancel their membership.
