The White House has said that President Donald Trump rejected Iran’s original 10-point proposal during ongoing negotiations between the United States and Iran.
According to White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, Iran’s first proposal was considered “fundamentally unserious” and “unacceptable” by the Trump administration. She said the original plan was completely discarded by President Trump and his negotiating team.
Leavitt said that the proposal was “literally thrown in the garbage” because it did not match the conditions set by the United States. She also said many reports suggesting that the White House accepted Iran’s original plan were incorrect.
