US-based space startup has announced an ambitious plan to build the world’s first permanent luxury hotel on the Moon by 2032. According to reports, staying at this futuristic lunar hotel could cost around ₹3.7 crore per night, making it one of the most expensive hotel experiences ever imagined.
The proposed Moon hotel is expected to feature a glass-domed structure built on the lunar surface, offering breathtaking panoramic views of Earth. Designed primarily for astronauts and ultra-wealthy space tourists, the hotel aims to deliver a once-in-a-lifetime experience with low-gravity living, advanced life-support systems, and next-level luxury beyond our planet.
Reports suggest that advance bookings may already be open, with room tariffs starting at approximately $410,000 per night. However, the project is still in its early stages and faces major challenges related to cost, technology, safety, and long-term sustainability.
The company behind the project states that this initiative is not only about luxury tourism but also about supporting long-term human presence on the Moon. If successful, the Moon hotel could mark a major milestone in space tourism and open doors to future off-planet travel experiences.
