Amul Crosses ₹1 Lakh Crore Turnover for the First Time

Amul

has crossed the ₹1 lakh crore milestone

Amul has achieved a major milestone by crossing ₹1 lakh crore in brand turnover during the financial year 2025–26. The company’s total turnover increased by around 11% compared to the previous year, when it stood at nearly ₹90,000 crore.

Strong demand in India helped Amul grow faster

One of the biggest reasons behind this growth is Amul’s strong performance in the Indian market. The company continued to see high demand for milk, butter, cheese, ghee, ice cream and other dairy products across cities and villages.

Amul is also expanding quickly in global markets

Apart from India, Amul has started growing in international markets as well. The company recently launched fresh milk in Europe and the United States, which helped increase its business outside India.

More than 36 lakh dairy farmers are behind this success

Amul said that the ₹1 lakh crore turnover is the result of the hard work of nearly 36 lakh dairy farmers connected to the cooperative. The company is one of the biggest farmer-owned organisations in the world.

Amul now sells more than 1,200 different products

The company’s rapid growth has also come from its huge product range. Amul currently sells more than 1,200 product packs, including milk, butter, paneer, ice cream, chocolates and beverages.

Amul has become India’s largest FMCG organisation

With this turnover, Amul has further strengthened its position as India’s largest FMCG company. The company’s own sales turnover reached ₹73,450 crore in FY26, which was 11.4% higher than the previous year.
